World Cup Qualifying resumes today. The US visits Kingston, Jamaica to take on the Reggae Boyz. Don’t look at me like that. I didn’t make that up or anything. Seriously. Their official website is www.thereggaeboyz.com.

Let’s not get sidetracked here. The point I’m trying to make is that Gabe and I are ready for the game. Even though one of us is going to sleep through at least half of it.

At some point, which of us sleeps through the games will probably shift, but I’m giving myself about 40 more years of fully-conscious soccer watching.

Astute observers will note that this isn’t an official US Soccer jersey that Gabe is wearing. This is in part because US Soccer doesn’t seem to make any baby gear. At least, not any baby gear that doesn’t suck. If they did, I would have purchased something from them long ago.

Target, however, makes a nice baby outfit that looks almost exactly like US jersey. Why is this the case, I can’t possibly say, but it has led to things that are awesome, such as this:
